If you have to work away or are transferred temporarily for work when does an unoccupied PPOR become liable for land tax? If a house was never available for rent, still contained the owners clothing and furniture and was intended to be returned is there a ruling/legislation on when it becomes liable? Have read appropriate land tax acts and government websites but this situation isn't covered.
