If its so hard not to pee everywhere, why dont you blokes just start sitting down to pee? It would prevent the whole seat up/seat down argument and by the sounds of it help youu blokes get a gold star at peeing directly into the loo without splashing everywhere.

Although in the middle of the night in the dark, if you don’t notice the toilet seat is up then you can actually fall in. I have before. Not his fault for leaving it up, my fault for not turning on the light to see :)

Thanks Lisa! It was very spur of the moment, but it was burning a hole in me :)

So the crux of the matter is that men need to put the seat down in order to prevent women falling into the toilet because they didnt turn on the light?

I don't know, I've literally never had this issue before. I always look down first before I take a seat.

    Easy:

    1) Kids who won't listen

    2) My man-child friends who get sloppy as hell after just a few drinks

We try, we really try but...I don't want to get into the nasty details, but on the odd occasion guys get what we call um...split streams. Sorry I didn't know any other way to phrase this.

Haha I actually do this a lot. For some reason I feel ashamed to admit this.

    You are a trail blazer!!

That's right folks, you heard it here on PC first..... The new craze is men sitting down to per! It just makes sense doesn't it.
Then if you decide mid stream you might require a.....ahem "longer session", you are already in the correct position.

My husband sits when he can't be bothered standing.

Usually not an issue unless I woke up in the middle of the night, half asleep and don’t want lights as I still want to go back to sleep. I also think it’s rare for male to wake up in the middle of the night to take a seat unless they have stomach bug.

Yes. Also mitigating risk of them waking you up after falling into the toilet, or puting a pillow on your head instead.

I do this at night. Saves turning the light on for both of us and accuracy is 100%!

I always wonder, is it really easier for men to pee standing? Or so it just how they brought up
