About to embark on a kitchen reno and co-ordinating all the moving parts.

2 Items remain a little bit of a mystery for me and hoping others can help me out here.

Item #1) Sink. We have to install undermount sink. We checked with stonemason people and they said they only do the cut on the Ceaserstone however not the install. No doubt this one is not easy.

Item #2) Gas cooktop. Company supplying Ceaserstone also do not carry this out. Assume this one is easier to install than above however not sure.

    Appreciate others input here.

    Plumber?

A plumber is certainly required for the taps and drainage for the sink. You can ask if they can do the rest of the installation.

For a gas stove, a plumber. For an electric stove, an electrician.

We are in the process of designing our new kitchen... curious why you "have to" install an undermount sink? We are going with top mount as the stone benchtop would take an absolute hammering when trying to wash large pots/pans in an undermount.

I am doing this too. Granite and top mount. I would be very concerned about undermount with granite.

As @Perthguy said, need plumber for plumbing/pipe works, sparky for electrical.
However not all plumbers are also licensed for gas.

My plumber installed my basins in our bathroom reno, so I'd assume they'd be able to install a sink too.

    Thanks all for the input.

For Item #1 I have confirmed Stonemason will take care of gluing unit during install. It's quite a process.

For Item #2 plumber will handle. Forgot to mention it is a gas cook top !

It looks amazing and worth the risk. There is also a small trick where the sink is not exactly flush with stone. The sink should be coming out further so you bang the pot on the sink and not on the edge of bench !

Mine for an IP. I have found tenants are not very careful with other people's property, so not taking the risk and going with the top mount sink.

    Plumber for gas. :)

But they have to be certified to do gas.
