    My favourite though was a fresh of the boat English tradie doing some painting for me years ago who had been here 18 or so months. We had a good laugh re football etc for a few days and once he spent 20 mins talking about how there were too many immigrants in australia and perth etc and the gates needed to be closed as they were taking jobs.

    This is a guy who had been here less than 2 years; moved into a suburb dominated by English immigrants and when quoting on the job told me he could do it a lot cheaper than the "aussie tradies". A true idiot.

    I suspect because I can be a bit blokey when I need to and speak and behave like many aussies some of these rednecks let their guard down a bit around me. Comical stuff.

    The Portuguese charcoal chicken is pretty good too.
    Actually, any charcoal chicken is good.
