Final tonight, but has anyone else been gobsmack hooked on this series?

OMG ... these kids are phenomenal cooks, putting us oldies to shame, but also amazing little humans with their gratitude and humbleness and delight

I saw the prizewinner and I realised why they even had a Junior edition.

It's because the $25,000 first prize wouldn't be worth it for adults, but it's a fortune for kids.

I pick a stock.... Not so good
I pick a horse (Contoversial I know).... Not so good
Last week, Picked QLD and didn't bet on it.... they won against all odds
Masterchef, I picked Amelia on day one, the odds were through the roof, I didn't bet
Masterchef Junior, I picked Georgia day one. At least this one you couldn't bet because it's kids

Moral of the story, if I don't stand to make money from it, I am probably right. The second I have some skin in the game, I will be wrong ;)

I was really impressed with how supportive - and genuinely happy for their "competitors" - these kids were.

I usually pick chicken but sometimes vegetable

We watched a bit of this series, great fun once we'd allocated pseudonyms for each contestant ala Roy & HG style. :D

I know that I couldn't prepare anything like those kids. :(

I dont think I've seen a more scripted and fake show since keeping up with the kardashians or the bachelor
