    G'day.

I joined SS in July 2014 and ever since, I've been checking SS frequently and now on PC.

In or around 2004, my wife and I decided to sell our apartment in a multiplex in 7 Keats Avenue, Rockdale (3 blocks of numerous units) due to poor buy and low yield. We then worked to pay off our PPOR and in hindsight, that wasn't smart either. Well, poor decision and bad experience nearly got me thinking property investing is too hard.

Fast forward to July 2014, I decided that it's time to give property another go and I found SS. I've been reading and learning heaps. Along the way, I found a mentor who helped me to crystalise my thinking around property investing. And just recently, we bought an IP in Newcastle which will settle in early October. It's out of my comfort zone but Sydney prices are just crazy. I'm thankful for the experience thus far and hopefully, this is a new beginning in property investment.

Well you are a bit late to the party for the intro threads... It only took you 480 posts ;)

I feel that 'welcome' isn't quite right anymore... So I shall just say hello! =)

Larry. There is no written law as to when to post an intro. I was at my my job for five years before I started introducing my self to co-workers. Admittedly,I got strange looks.

    Welcome aboard.

Very good. Sounds like my minor reno at the coast - except it rained the whole time!
