    I had been trying to be a good landlord to this tenant. And also I have been trying to be a good tenant myself.

    Yep, we struggled to meet repayments (No take away let alone dinning out) working second job's for 2+ years while the tenant got rent assistance and "his" money every fortnight :rolleyes:

    That struggle made us better people, and 30 years later I'm sure he is living in a caravan somewhere while we have far better choices & options available (and now finally drive several much better cars, all owned outright) to do what we want when we want :cool:

    Those early years of struggle and sacrifice have finally come to fruition ;)

    Yep! It was very hard at the time, but happy now.
