Sorry, I'll sign off now. Too many trolls with nothing better to do. Time for some more banning I think.

I hate to burst "your" bubble, but you accuse someone of anecdotes and this forum being an echo chamber, and then go right ahead and tell your own personal anecdote. Is your anecdote more valid than someone else's anecdote?

I dont think I responded to the political thread the other day, so here goes. I love the country just the way it is - lots of good social policies balanced with free enterprise. It's the extreme ideology I was referring to - I hear that it is unfair how us landlords own more than one house. The regular dialogue I read about or see on TV that wants someone like you or me to hand our spare houses over to other people who dont have to pay us for them. THAT more extreme part of socialism that raises its head every so often.

I think most of the "socialsts" would just settle with less govt welfare for the property and banking industries. Lets be honest, thats what has kept this mega boom going and is the reason it comtinues to defy market forces.

And back to the post to show i am not a troll. i thought melb eastern suburbs were not booming, but now i think they are.

Everything I've got, I've slogged for with thousands of sacrifices and by the grace of the big dog upstairs. When it worked out I celebrated, when it failed I picked myself up and carried on. I never, ever blamed anyone else.

Don't talk to me about entitlement. You have no idea.
