    Will be interesting to see if it drops to an all time low of under 32%

    Unless the govt changes the rules and re-implements the 50% LTCG discount for non-residents we wont be buying again......but if they change their minds then I'd be happy to come back into the market.

    (in all seriousness the French truly have the best system for deal with non-resident expats).

    Well yes

    but the real thing why there wont be any traction on this is that

    Aussie battler and Non resident / Expat isnt often used in the same context.

    Its always assumed that if one is offshore that one has a lux life, which is often NOT the case
