Hi PT - I was living in the US so it was a no-brainer. I was living in LA and working in tech and I saw what happened to Venice Beach when Google opened there - property prices tripled in a year. So I bought in Mar Vista - just near Venice - because I knew a tech park was opening up near by with offices for Snapchat, facebook, YouTube and more which meant lots of millionaires pouring into the area looking for homes. Our price has gone up about 50% in 3 years. The experience for a home buyer is awesome because you have the power. I was the one doing all of the negotiating. Not sure what its like to buy now but three years ago it was epic. I can recommend where to look for sure if you are thinking about LA!
