Investing properties overseas ? Sick of price doubling in 7 years if it acutally happens. Too slow.

    Which raises another issue.

    Investing overseas has currency exchange issues associated with it- you're investing in currency as well as property. This can go two ways.

    When we were in England they revalued the pound by some reasonable amount. Then later the same day this was not only reversed- they revalued it in the opposite direction.

    Very true both currency and property have appreciated. As they're not mortgaged the dilemma is to free up cash reserves to fund other devs in Aus but also the negatives would be lost Future capital growth issues
