    DIGITAL HYPE ARCADE

These guys do a fairly priced unit with 8000 games if you don't want to build your own, but I'm sure you love building em.

I do, it's sort of a hobby of mine :). I have made my own build which has Arcade, Atari 2600, 5200 and 7800 SMS, SMD, NES, SNES, Spectrum 48K+, Amiga and a few random PC games like Doom and Quake and stuff.

Basically it's the games I grew up with :).

Now I can just work on designing the hardware setup and drop my build on to the memory stick and off we go :).

I like the link you posted, looks like an XArcade but with all the bits inside it, I do wonder how they are paying the license fees in order to ship with 10,000 games in it though??

One thing I wanted to do a few years ago when I was between jobs was go into business with my dad (he is really good with woodworking) and build a range of tech enabled high end furniture, a lovely oak coffee table which you open ports on the side to reveal controllers and a screen under the wooden top, was considering USB ports for mobile device charging and the like but alas, I ended up getting my job where I am now :).

Was considering things like photo slideshows, newspaper or ebooks abilities on the screen when not in use and things like that.

Not a bad idea, you can still do this as a side project

We are looking at it still, it's why I am still spending time on my build, I need to code in the photo cycle and stuff :). It's a slow process though, more of a home project now.

Your av looks just like Monokuma, a bear from Danganronpa, I have never watched it or played the game but I have seen the logo on the PSVita version of the game :).

This all sounds really cool so I thought I'd add that for those of you who visit the Blue Mountains a visit to Toy & Railway Museum | Toys and Trains | New South Wales is well worth it..

Disclaimer: I dropped in on Saturday but have no association with this Museum.

But it's really cool, and the history is even better. Make sure you ask about it.

Just came across this thread. I must admit to having been a little bit ignorant of just how big this sector is. since we started working with Disney qnd have seen the sheer madness associated with star wars mt eyes have certainly been opened.

I think I touched on it briefly once but for disclosure, we are a licensee of Disney, specifically atm for star wars with 1 product on market and another few on the way.

Current one is a levitating death star Bluetooth speaker, ie this
