    Thanks for that... are there any others? Is there any companies that let u buy direct stocks in india?... or even the indian index?

    Many Indian companies (the bigger ones) are dual listed on the NYSE. So a Comsec account will allow you to invest in them directly. The brokerage costs are about $75 from memory.

    Platinum Asia also has good exposure to India - about 15% long as at end of March this year.
