Interstate transfer Real Estate Licence

    Hi,

    Does anyone know if you have a Queensland full real estate licence with no conditions attached, and you look to transfer it to NSW, does it equate to a NSW Class 1 or Class 2 Licence?

    I have heard they are talking about a licence covering the whole of Australia, not sure when that might be going to happen.

    @Penny Knoff - a NSW Class 1 licence requires the holder to have completed the Diploma of Real Estate in order to be a licensee & 2 years as a Class 2 Agent

    That all got canned as NSW would not lower its standards to the lowest common denominator & abandon the CPD requirements.

    Service NSW is the licensing Authority and only you know the experience you have.

    If you're currently not a licensee in Qld, then you will be a class 2.
