Install Ceiling Fan to Bedroom and Living Room/Strata Permission

    Hi All,

    Does anyone know if I would need strata permission to install ceiling fans to the bedrooms and living room of an apartment?

    Would installing a remote ceiling fan instead of one with a wall switch make any difference (as I assume wiring would not be required to be run through the roof and wall)?

    You should not need strata approval for either.
    BTW, a remote ceiling fan still needs an isolation switch on the wall.
