Is this for an IP? What do you want it to do? It's not an A/C unit, it's not even an evap unit.

They just work on hot air going up,convection currents rising towards the ceiling vents then flow on out the roof by wind--turbines,,no AC ..

Extracting heat won't do much unless your house is way hotter on the inside than outside. You'll probably get a better result by using ceiling fans and opening the windows a bit (windows need to be open for the H1800 to work as well).

If you want your house cooled, then you really need to look at either:
    1. Cheapest option of evaporative air-conditioning (that's the big box that sits on the roof and pumps air through water before it enters the house, it needs the windows open in order to work, and some units can be switched to reverse, just like the extraction fan you're looking at. It's not very effective on humid days though.
    2. Refrigerated A/C either ducted or split systems. It works whether it's humid or not, but it is a more expensive setup.

Thank you so much for the detailed explanation. Back to the drawing board to look at options.

As a guide here are some rough costs for a single storey house:
    1. Basic ceiling fans - $150-$200ea installed.
    2. H1800 (~$1000 from Bunnings? + maybe another $750 to install)
    3. Ducted Evap (A/C only) - $4,000-$6,000
    4. Ducted Refrig (with reverse cycle heating) - $7,500-$12,000

Costs will vary depending on the size of your house, and how much gadgety control stuff you want with it.
