Inner city areas have lowest birth rates..

    I suppose that you can also conclude that birth rates are higher in first home buyer territory too. Or is it that empty nesters are flocking to be closer to the city? Possibly something in the water affecting fertility in these areas?

    Conversely more older people are dying in these areas too.

    Could well be something in the water up this way,but i is see a lot of ordinary Men over 40 walking the young kids to school in our small area,maybe people are just having a family and every item that comes with it later in life..

    Could well be,they married up in life,but you see a lot over 50 Men doing the same ,wife works they stay at home good job if you can get it..

    From personal experience (not representative of course), most friends and colleagues with kids want to live in their own house and not renting.

    I'd say simply there's no space in inner city. It's difficult to have children if what you can afford is a one bedroom apartment.

    Common observation, most of my colleagues have first kids in their 30-40 or even older. Seems to be more common nowadays as people wait until they're more financially stable.
