    Some do, some don't.

I know a few who live waterfront in Sydney, always travel 1st class, drive Mercs/Audis etc, haute couture, cleaners/gardeners/chef etc.

Yet others still drive old ute, no pretenses, no flash clothes, decent schools for kids.

...and then there's the Packers, Murdochs, Mediechs etc

He displays no traits of the rich.

Owns several jets including the hanger at Mascot Aerodrome.

Gifted the kids a Porsche each.

Runs around in made to measure suits.

    Personal chef

Lives in a small ppor spread across several waterfront lots in the eastern suburbs.

Even has his own barrister (sic) to make coffee.

High heels don't suit the man.

@Scott No Mates was invited to his place last week, because his grandson had a barmitzvah and i know him from Synagogue. Anyway the security inside is insane. His sons are nice but David, the 'rocker', is really 'out there'.....

I wore high heels today at 6 open inspections.
It's presentable, look better with dresses, but my gosh they hurt at the end of the day.

Home now wearing fluffy slippers - so much better. If only slippers were a sign of wealth :p

You mean US Global footwear corporation Decker's "UGG Australia" 'Made in China' version boots or small Australian company Australian Leathers Pty Ltd who has been manufacturing ugg boots since the early 1990s, using Australian sheepskins to make about 50,000 pairs of the boots every year?

Conglomerate Decker want Australian Leathers Pty Ltd to desist in describing its sheepskin boots as "ugg" boots because in

1999 "UGG Australia" was successfully registered as a trademark of Deckers Corporation, which has an annual turnover of $2.4 billion

The court action by Deckers is calling for sweeping orders, including for all of Australian Leather's ugg boot stock to be delivered to Deckers in the US for destruction, all funds in the company's bank accounts to be transferred to Deckers, as well as multi-million dollar punitive damages.

South Australian Independent Senator Nick Xenophon said the action "looks like a complete abuse of trademark laws".

"This is legal bullying...This is a $2.4 billion corporation taking on a small business. Thats why I've put up legislation that we should be protecting the word 'ugg'," he said.

I'm now contemplating a career change to become a gardener! Not a bad hourly rate (it'd still be >$30 after expenses), you're outdoors, you're exercising (sort of).

You reckon? This guy employs others so I think their actual wages are substantially lower when you take out the costs of running the business...

I reckon that if people are willing to pay $50 per hour that I could make at least $30 per hour after expenses. Obviously not working for that guy, but the market seems to be there.
I wouldn't mind doing that or working at Bunnings. At least for a short while.

    That'd be terrible!
I can be pretty lazy, but if I'm working, I would like to be doing something, not just be a glorified traffic light.

Run cheaply and out of a ute possibly but there's to much competition.
But... mowing lawns for cash you will get ahead!

Bunnings just use and abuse the semi retired and kids. Won't get the shifts

Oh yeah its a **** job but can pay decent

Working in the greenhouse section of Big W was the best, you had the best, most friendly customers there, as opposed to footwear where I mostly worked. But just a few years ago they got rid of the greenhouse and turned it into the party section...

And re: traffic controller, I have a friend doing that! Yep, easy work, and you just have to be happy working nights.

Ever noticed how the less fortunate don't have bunches of flowers on their dining room table? The reason for the absence of flowers is that cost a lot more money than they cost to grow and arrange

You don't need to be rich for this one if you know where and what to buy
I am a lover of fresh flowers in my house, I buy every week 2 bunches of my favourites, I go the local flower shop/market, costs me $26 per week, cheap as chips, nothing beats fresh, no need to be rich.... everyone can enjoy this.... I highly recommend this one...
