They salvage useable bricks not broken bricks. Go to gumbytree.

    Get them from Melbourne

Most Sydney bricks are brown. Different clay.

I had mine cleaned and shipped from Melbourne for $1100 per thousand. Sydney bricks were $1800 with no shipping.

You can buy any amount I think but the economy of scale with shipping decreases.

I chose a shipment with graffiti on them and am very happy.

9/10 folks love them. The tenth wonders why I didn’t buy nice new bricks. They also said couldn’t I afford to carpet instead of polished concrete.

Scientist, are those the classic 60s/70s red bricks you're looking for? The extruded bricks with holes in them? Possibly hard to get second hand because the holes make them hard to salvage.

Saw your photo. Those are real Sydney 50/60s style. Here in Newcastle too. Commonly matched with a blue tile roof.

Not sure where to get them. Not in demand for new projects.

My style I mentioned above won’t help.

I’d ring around, be prepared to spend a day looking.
