    Hi Everyone, I was trying to resist my SS addiction but I am unable to so here I am. I have been lurking for a while but starting to talk to the screen so I figured I better join in. For those who don't know me from SS I am a Caboolture/Morayfield property investor, mostly in the bottom quarter of the market. Simon, I love the business section- great idea!

    Hi Joan. I toyed with the idea of breaking my SS addiction, but told myself I needed to join immediately or someone could take my name :D.

    I'm just as addicted to this new forum ;).

    How are you finding the market up that way?

    I've been looking anywhere from the Sunshine Coast down to Southside Brisbane. I grew up on the Sunny coast so know the area well. Are you currently investing in property up your way?

    The market here is improving and values are starting to get close to pre GFC amounts (thank God!!). We have enough houses so aren't planning to buy anymore.

    Hi CU, I actually got half way through a business law degree in my mis-spent youth but left uni to pay 18% on our first house and have babies.

    I've got a couple of friends who have properties there, is there much happening there with the ripple effect from Brisbane?

    Me too! I was very upset at loosing SS and thought about not coming over......but I had a meetup planned, so had to, in order to keep that updated. Once here, well I'm still addicted.:D

    It's never too late! Law is one of the few professions where it is an advantage to be a bit older when you practice.
