    Ford is in Broadmeadows!?

Holden factory is in Elizabeth which may cause job losses in Davoren Park?

It probably won't affect Davoren Park much because most of the people that still work at Holden live in better surrounding suburbs. It might lead to a few mortgagee sales around the Northern suburbs though depending on how financially stretched people are.

I worked in the Holden plant as a contractor for many years, those guys are on a reasonable wicket and half the people i knew there did not reside in the Playford LGA. Golden grove, Greenwith, Highbury, Paralowie, Parafield gardens even Kilburn/Prospect were quite common. In the Playford LGA, Hillbank, Muno para, Andrews farm. I am struggling to recall anyone residing specifically in Davoren park.

Jobs and Davoren Park aren't words typically used in the same sentence

Maybe he wrote "unemployed", but was in Davoren Park at the time of writing and someone stole the "u" and the "n".

Hi there from a newbie. Are there particular managers you would recommend for these areas? Thanks!

It's best to work with a manager who understands the local demographic and isn't just a clock watching junior who is just filling a seat until they get a shot at being a sales agent. Someone proactive helps these investments along tremenduously because if you remove the tenancy risk the yields in these area are substantial.

David who posted directly above has built a sizeable portfolio which includes a spread of property in the suburbs we've all been talking about - he's also an Adelaide property manager. :)

The local suburb agencies are quite amusing, whenever I've purchased in the area the PM of the agency will send through a proposal - usually floating between 9-11% + fees. All for the latest merry-go-round junior employee.

I've used Property Management Adelaide | Peoples' Choice Property Management
Richard, been good for 3 years.

Never used David as I didn't know of his services then. But I would use him as he's helped with info I required several times.

Youre not wrong there! Every franchise seems to charge something like $100 a year to check the smoke alarm.. and extra fees just to do an inspection.. no thanks.

688 is 35k per year per household?

Does that most likely mean part time?
    For 2 adults?
Or is the typical household 1 adult?

I have a tenant on 42k 'salary' from centrelink - pretty good income. Single mum with 2 kids, one of them with special needs so bumps up the figures a bit. And is one of the best - pays every fortnight and never calls me unless there's an emergency.

The typical household in Dav Park is 2.5 people.
