    Hi all,

Given I spend over $10,000 pa in insurance with EBM, I'd like to compare prices with Terry Scheer, as they seem to have an equally good reputation. I wondered if anyone has any feedback on their systems etc though?

EBM doesn't have a direct debit option or ability to log into an online account (both annoying) but I must say whenever I email them, I get a response very quickly from a real person answering all my questions (although I wouldn't have any questions if I could log into an account online and check my policies...).

Does TS have direct debit, online account to check/modify policies and are they easy to communicate with over email? (I rarely have time to call - email is easier for me)

Also, I want to get a quote for multiple properties - does anyone have a contact I can email? The online quote form doesn't apply the multiple property discount unless you've already got 2 other properties with them, and I can't find how much the discount is?

    Thanks

I like their commercials where that lady can just prevent things from happening. Wonder how much that sort of cover costs?

Is that lady the real Terri Scheer? And is she any relation to AAMI?

Hmmm..ladies in insurance ads that come to the rescue when things go wrong. The message I'm getting is they don't think a man can fix things up.

And what about that other insurance ad where that rocket man with the beard stuffs things up.

I have only use and recommend Terri Scheer (and am also a distributor). Claims and complaints have been handled very well, to date, never had an unsuccessful claim, then again maybe I'm pretty realistic about the PDS and advising Owners of such etc.

    Online portal - dunno
Pay by month - dunno (it's like circa $360pa, is a pay by the month option really needed? If you want to cancel they do pro-rata refunds)

    Thanks Michael.

I didn't ask about pay by month, just direct debit. I have about 12 policies, so find it annoying with EBM that I can only receive the invoices by mail, and they have to be manually paid and managed.

I got a letter from TS that they can now send invoices etc electronically. I don't know of any online portal, may be different for people with large number of policies.
