Is there any way to prevent sold price from getting published for queensland property ?

I doubt that. Look at the data you can buy in this link. Data can always be purchased and a transfer value for OSR and land titles is a trigger point as is a contract. Data vendors can buy data in bulk and use it for all sorts of purposes - Thanks RP Data

Unless your a real estate agent who perhaps wants to prevent the public release of a lower than expected price, why is it an issue to have this info published - after the property has sold and the deal fully completed? For transparency, I think its good that this information is available to the public in a timely manner.
