    Hi Everyone,

How do you confirm the size of an 1960s 1970s apartment?

I intend to buy an one bedroom apartment, and its internal plus balcony area must be more than 50 square meters for U Bank to approve home loan. I got pre-approval from Ubank.

Property agents give me vague reply such as "approx 50 square meter" in email, this is not OK as UBank will not approve mortgage for property this is less than 50 square meters.

I don't see anywhere in Section 32 mention about the size of apartment either.

Any most of the time listings in realeatate.com don't disclose the size.

I find calculating the size by the floor plan dimension inaccurate as well.

    What do you think?

The strata plan should have the areas on them.

    A measurement tape might help.
