I often think about this . If you are looking at properties with commercial/industrial tenants you may not want to look too well dressed .

If you are looking at agricultural properties in a suit and tie or a tux you would be well out of place .

Residential , just smart casual ..

I thought the only people you need to impress were the selling agents - with your cheque book? :)

I know a developer who turned up at an auction wearing old sneakers, trackie dacks, a scrappy t-shirt and an old cap. Others were there bidding suit and tie, looking all smart. Developer walked all over them and won the auction with a $1.52 million dollar bid. Yes, I realise that is a normal house price in Sydney or Melbourne but in Perth that gets you a mid ring development site with 4 existing houses and room to build two more!

Bought a near 6m commercial recently and was wearing $15 Kmart jeans, lucky nobody checked.
They are the most comfortable jeans I’ve had, better fittment than the more expensive brands I’ve owned.

Maybe they changed their cut, I had a pair of target jeans years ago. Only wore them once but the chaffing on the thighs lasted weeks.

    Swore never again.

most agents wear a tie and shiny suit 3 sizes too small - i don't pull that either.
    Business attire.
Commercial property is about doing business, dress the part.
I save my bogan shirt for the family barbies and snowboarding
