For a real holiday, go on a cruise.

Do you want to save about 30 years - get your tubes tied.

Yup. Divide is the surgical term for cut (sorry, missed that it was jargon).
The male version. Maybe a joke that will fall flat :)

I try using the process as much as possible - but I still end up doing too many things I actively detest (e.g. a lot of family events involving children). Saying no is a hard skill!

I keep time in my watch. I must have a lot of time as I own several watches and there's a clock in many of the rooms at home.

Only post on PC while I am at work.
Dont have facebook, twitter, google+ or any other such mindless distractions.
Dont have games on my phone/computer
    Dont have a TV.

I try not to spend time pointlessly looking at the internet/media. PC is about the only website I regularly visit (outside of web banking). I remove myself from 99% of mailing lists - if I want some info - I go and look for it. This helps to control the number of emails recieved. General 'noise' isnt welcome.

I then use my spare time to Plan, orgnise & automate (taxes, bills etc).

One thing I can't do is cook in bulk, freeze it and eat the same thing for a couple of days.
I tried it - does not work for my family.
Neither my children or husband will touch leftovers or anything that has been frozen.
Consequently we spend a lot of time cooking - no saving time there.

But I have to admit, nothing like a good meal that has been freshly created that day. mmmm

At work - delegate, if someone in the team can do it, i don't need to be hands-on, just review. re-align my priority everyday so i can get out of the office asap.

At home - minimize TV time, only to watch when need relax. no FB ****, that tends to be a waste of time. read news on daily commute.

on other things, i actually have a different view: i do enjoy cooking / eating with family and think this is the best time of the day. but we do that usually 4-5 nights of the 7 days of the week. at the end of the day, we just live once, so along the route, i ensure i enjoy those little things.

Also, instead of save time, i do force myself to read books, more on educate myself, i usually think the usage of time on education is more like a investment to myself. i know someone on the PC will have different opinion, but that's just me :)

The strategy I employ is use of the Eisenhower Matrix. Urgent, not urgent, important, not important.. You know the drill.
Also remember 80% or the results are attributed to 20% of the work. ie don't overdo, over engineer, over anything, etc. unless you really love it or are striving for the highest grade possible.
Lastly read David Allens books Getting Things Done. Or better, get the audio book and play at 1.5x haha.

 Leftovers is my favourite meal! Sure some things are best fresh but some of the best meals I have eaten were prepared the day before or before that even. Curries are one example. They get better with age. A curry on the day tastes a bit raw to me. It takes overnight in the fridge to develop the flavours properly.

I used to save time buy cycling to work. It takes 30 to 40 minutes to catch the bus and train to work and up to 50 minutes to get home. Then I like to exercise for 1/2 hour to an hour. Cycling to work takes ~25 mins each way. Cycling to work is my exercise, so combining the commute and exercise time saves a lot, at least an hour a day.
