    Definitely over. Keeps the wall clean and stops those with long fingernails from scratching the wall.

    Definitely over - to the point that I will change it around in other people's houses whilst "sitting there" ... for all the reasons listed about - easier to access, don't waste as much by tearing off more than required, no touching as you grope for the end ... and a folder ... does that make me anal?

    Oh - also taught hubby, very early on, to put the toilet seat and lid down "every time"! ... he watched a doco on the spread of flying germs if flushed with the lid up ... ;)

    More to the point... People that leave 1 or 2 squares left on the roll without changing it. My husband is massively guilty of this. Does my head in.

    Just use those last couple of squares and change the roll.

    I don't agree with this at all. My fiancé doesn't care and it causes lots of conflict. It's almost a deal breaker
