The interface I use to generate Residex reports often lists the recent advertised activity for a particular property. It usually isn't published in the report itself.

RPdata and those databases usually have a date the ad was first publicly published...that is if the agent won't give you a truthful answer.
I've got access if you want to PM me, happy to have a look for you.

Hmm bummer if there is no free service.

I suppose since I am mainly keeping an eye on a market and will not be buying yet, any properties that are actually interesting I could put into a spreadsheet so I had a reference.

If anyone knows of a free one, would appreciate it. Thanks!

Ah great. It doesn't have all properties unfortunately, but it has information on some, which is better than nothing. Cheers.

Your conveyancor / settlement agent / solicitor should be able to assist with this.

It is one of my favourite answers that Rpdata subscription gives me. It shows the listing history for things that are for sale and sold. It will show the listing start date and whenever the listing has changed, especially interesting for price changes. You can see it tracking down as the listing ages. Great stuff for finding extra motivation.

yep just another reason RP and PF are invaluable tools. People still msg me debating the free stuff is good enough not wanting to spend any $ on data. Its such a false economy. Paying to know this stuff is such a high ROI because it impacts negotiations so heavily and can mean 20-40x the annual spend on just 1 transaction.

Domain.com will tell you if the property is listed on it.

    This is pretty good.
Found this one too from NAB.

Weird how I got a report from both, and both say it is from CoreLogic, but both estimates were different amounts for the same property.

This is good, but gives a different number to the corelogic one.
Although multiple sources is best to double check, so still useful - thanks.

Did not have the first house I checked but yea for another house it did. Cheers.

Yea this is the reason why I am looking for it. Trying to learn about properties that have been on the market for a while to know how to pick which properties you are more likely to get away with low balling and getting a great dea - like the one you mentioned in one of the Perth threads.

Planning to get PriceFinder a few months before I am ready to start looking seriously because at $1,000/yr that extra year will cost a lot, so hoping for something free in the mean time. But good point about how very useful it is.
