How do you feel, when you read these stories?

There is of course a downside to being successful.

I cringe inside when I see supposedly successful people caught up in illegal activity. I have many times had people assume that because I have a foreign surname (born in Australia) and own expensive toys that I must have made my money illegally.

But when you read stories like this.

Extreme greed is a powerful thing ....

 

digital world now.
no where to hide, long term.
stoked the crims have been caught

 

This money represents an outcome that relied on taking advantage of other others, whether by selling them drugs that will harm them directly, and society indirectly, or by inflicting misery by extortion/fear/physical violence etc. The more these type of activities are shut down the better.

 

i feel happy when criminals go down.

 

If nothing else, that blue shirt & gold chain......

 

At least most of their assets end up in the police seized auction's outlets Australia wide cars watches diamond rings ect ..
I watched every time a OMG were there trying to buy the 340 grm 18ct gold chains that their path holder had lost in a drug bust,every time they would win the winning bid and go to pay the plain clothes undercover would just take them away in the unmarked car..

I feel glad that they were caught and charged.
Too many crooks get away with blue murder, for reasons I do not understand!
Doesn't matter what they look like!

 

Your asking how I feel and this is what I think and feel.

When you get older and have seen and heard many things and look back and forward you tend to think that everyone is playing a chosen role.

I came to this conclusion after wondering how some people do the job they do and do it daily...what is the mindset that keeps them going.

This is how i think they must get through to do what they have to do.

People play the role and rarely change imo.

We do what we feel is most comfortable for us...so

Others as you have posted take risks for reward...I mostly stick to my own business which keeps me busy.
