Hi I have tiles falling off the edge of the pool. Please see the photo. Since it's a small area, is it possible for me with no tiling experience to fix the area?

According to some bunnings videos I would need glue to stick the tiles back and grout to seal the joints. I need the area to be dry during the operation so I will back wash to lower water level. I must have missed a lot of details. What can go wrong during the process? Any detail advice or video reference is much appreciated.

The pool was cement rendered and the tiles laid in a mortar bed - using glue will make the tiles sit proud. You may need to take 5mm off the face of the pool so that the thickness of glue + tile is the same as the existing.
