Mate from work started up a conversation with a new girl at work, she ended up inviting him over for birthday drinks at her house and he didn't want to go alone so dragged me along.
Wrote myself off (all class) and ended up staying the night. Next morning the new girls sister came out of the woodwork and I introduced myself and found out she had a boyfriend of a few years... next thing that comes out of my mouth is "He's out, I'm in".

    And alas here we are

We met at a crazy party on a house boat in LA. I worked for the owner of the house boat. I lived/rented a loft from a women who had the hots for one of my male friends...and thus, he was invited. My male friend was loaning one of his cars to his best friend because his car had died........and that best friend is now my husband.

At the time, my student visa was about to expire........and we were weighing up distance relationship or just going for. Married after 12 weeks of meeting.......and getting close to 18 years of being together.

I did not know what tinder was until 6 months ago.

I have also heard some horror stories, what do they call it now, hook ups.

"Aaaaah F***" is precisely what a chap said on "Married at first sight" the other night (tv program) when his allocated bride entered. Apparently he ordered a brunette and they gave him a blonde. However they seem to be getting along splendidly :)

at Flinders University, I was not interested in boy distractions during my undergraduate years but we got together after I finalised my PhD. He asked me to marry him 3 days into dating and we were married later that year. In year 2000 :)
