    @Catalyst you can use a buyers agent to do all the searching and find properties that meet your criteria and strategy. They do charge a fee for their service.
    Otherwise do it yourself through the real estate agent and arrange building inspections etc. there are positive and negatives to each
    There's a few detailed threads on buying interstate. I think rixter has covered in detail

    Haha... I was 22 was saving for a new Ducati. Girlfriend left me and I was homeless. Over paid for a house in the local area instead. During my stressing out an older relative guaranteed me it would be worth a million in ten years and I laughed at him.

    He was wrong it took thirteen
