Houseadvisor is taking the house price conversation digital. See what everyone thinks a house will sell for. Featuring the Block auctions this weekend. Have a crack and let me know what you think. Aim is to increase transparency around sales. Go to testsite.houseadvisor.com.au

Opinions about what something will sell for is very different from actual buyers making real offers with real money. Dont understand how more opinions makes it more transparent.

Was a bit of a quick summary from me, and quite right. There’s a lot of info out there as to what a property will sell for, and currently there’s no way to see everyone’s opinion. It’s just more info to put in the mix. User reputation is also built up over time so of the opinions you can delve into history to see who you think has a better idea. Agents can also sign up and provide transparency around their price promises.
