House Re-Stumping onto a New Site

Hi all,

Has anyone done a project in Sydney where they have moved a house and re-stumped it onto another site?

I've never done this before and might have an opportunity to purchase a house and have it moved and re-stumped onto a site. Not really sure how to go about the DA, and associated process requirements (not sure if this is the same process as a new build which I do all the time).

Appreciate some information from the good folks here.

It s just called house removal and relocation. The restumping and sometimes reroofing are just part of the job.

Haven’t done it but read a bit about it. Make sure you factor in all the costs.
