Business Banking & Finance Hiring: Sydney Based Mortgage Brokers

This role has high expectations and is demanding. We are looking to find talent that possess the fundamental skills & attitude required to become one of Australia’s leading mortgage brokers. You’ll be joining a proven team who’ve walked the talk & know the exceptional standards required to become industry leaders.

To be considered, applicants must have:
1. A customer-focussed attitude with the ability to deliver outstanding customer experiences
2. A strong desire, ‘can do’ & winning attitude
3. Flexibility to work after hours – many clients want to meet after hours and on weekends. Longer hours may be required in initial years to build a successful client base.
4. Outstanding sales & phone skills
5. Passion for real estate & ideally investing
6. Ability to juggle multiple applications at the same time
7. University qualified.

Experience in mortgage broking is not essential, as we will train individuals the technical skills required to become outstanding brokers. You will also need to obtain a Cert IV in Mortgage Broking & MFAA Accreditation prior to your start date.

Salary:

• This is a full time salary + commission based role.
• Total income will be dependent on the individual performance – expectations would be ~$100k for the first year (performance based) and substantially more in subsequent years ($200k+) as you build your client-base & industry experience.

Role:

• The role will be based at our new Mascot office, a few minutes walk from the station.
• We are searching for 2 sales professionals to become mortgage brokers.
• You will be required to service a large volume of leads & build your own client base over time.
• Your time will be spent pursuing clients, conducting mortgage appointments, providing expert credit advice & settling loans.
• Articulate phone manner required, as you will spend a lot of your time on calls with clients.
• You will need to be a skilled sales professional with a strong focus on delivering excellent customer experiences.
