I work as a bean counter in commerce (mining for now but who knows?), but please don't hold that against me! I grew up in Frankston, VIC (went to FHS), and left for sunny Queensland in the late nineties with a young family. With the kids all but grown up, and after years of psychological torment from stockmarket investing, we bought 2 properties in Brisbane and the GC a couple of years ago. A planned 3rd purchase in hometown Melbourne (not Frankston!) was put off after the market there starting running away from us and we are now looking again in SE Qld for that elusive 3rd property. Thanks to all the regular contributors here for their time and effort in assisting people like me as we wade into unchartered investing waters. Cheers all
I hear the GC is getting interesting with more buyers than sellers. Good luck on getting that third out of the way.
Parts of GC have very little stock available SoT. I only really follow the central GC area near where we bought and I'm seeing very little value stock under $700k east of Southport Burleigh Rd now.
