Hi all, Doing an introduction thread appears to be the thing to do so here goes. I am Property Hoarde from SS. I just fixed my error and put the r at the end. Posted some on SS but not a lot. I am a single 36 year old male from Melbourne, an Accountant by trade. I run my own accounting business specialising in Audit of Self Managed Superannuation Funds. I do not have a big portfolio just 2 in Ballarat, 1 Bendigo and my PROR in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. My business can now run via a laptop and internet connection and therefore looking to get out of town and looking to add to the portfolio.
I'm jealous, I'd love to be able to work from the beach. But if I was at the beach, I probably wouldn't work. Hoard on you crazy diamond!
It has taken me a long time to get to the point of having that freedom I just need to work out now how to best use the freedom and still get work done.
Hi PH - remember you from SS, good stuff that you have the right balance. Are you doing audit only or admin? I'm an auditor too, but not sure where I will take it in the next year or two - been issuing quite a few qualified reports this year (other auditors I know arn't) - weighing up risk v benefit of the audit side of the business. Hi Redwood. I remember you from SS and then I noticed your office in Blackburn. I am only auditing. Doing both would complicate my business which I do not need. As you would know there are so many different of options between auditors. Some of the qualifications I have seen some auditors do, I just have to shake my head. Thanks PH
