    Hi Guys,

I would like to add an extension to my existing house below is the floor plans.

Ideally I want to add a second living area and another master bedroom with on suite.

now I'm not exactly sure where to add these addition there is plenty of room in my backyard.

There is about 20 meter space from veranda to the back fence.

6M from kitchen window to neighbors fence.

Basically any addition I do I don't to ruin the interior and exterior look.

Hasn't this been discussed already in a previous post?
    That floor plan looks familiar!

Personally I would bring the garage forward to make a double garage, of course then altering the front entrance giving you a bigger master bedroom. Then extend as needed factoring in the extra space behind the new garage area.

Straight out the back where the verandah is. Then put a new deck out to the back fence.

Bit confused about what you've got going on there ... is this an extension off the back of the house, hence the blank room are part of the existing house?

Is that a jumbo bathroom off the living area?

Probably would help if you sat down with pen and paper, and drew to scale, including the existing house and sections of that which would change/be removed so it's obvious how everything fits.

The concept does look good and fairly typical - with the whole back wall opening out into the garden (nice).

When you upload, make the image full size rather than thumbnail - helps a lot when looking at the plans

Hey lizzie sorry about the drawing I drew it again but this time pen hope it makes sense.

Basically what im trying to do is turn the existing kitchen into a master bedroom with on suite and move the kitchen to my new extended area.

The space from existing kitchen window to fence is approx 6M.

The extended area is Marked in Red

Make sure you consider rooflines as well - two different extensions can have very different costs depending on how you want to change/add to the existing roofline.
