    from western Sydney purchased my first IP in Qld early this year. Still learning and working towards number 2.

    Purchased in Ipswich. 8 year old home only been vacant 2 weeks since it was used as a rental property. Paid less then the previous owners so cheering. Iv heard mixed reviews of the area but im happy with my first IP.
    Wasn't too bad the transaction they were not ready to settle on 2 occasions so we were able to negotiate a few things so was ok in the end

    Hey azazel

    not too sure yet. Before we looked in qld I was looking bathurst and orange.
    Im staying away from Sydney. Bathurst had just built its 2nd maccas a 2 bunnings was developed so the town is growing. Orange is only half hour away and prices are alot cheaper so yeah.
    Im still researching as to what I do next and location.

    Thanks!!!!! Yeah we were stoked!!!! My wife has really good negotiation skills. Were still working things out but cant complain just yet lol

    To use another well worn cliche "you make your money on the way in". If you (or your wife ;)) can do that on each one you should do alright.
