Tamara Thorogood I Founder of Mentoring Space I Commercial Property Acquisitions

Every book I have read on self development states “You need a Mentor”. This is way easier said than done. I’ve tried like minded social groups, seminars, meetups and all of them are great but finding that one person to take you to the next level can be illusive to say the least. That’s why I created Mentor Space!

You founded a company to just find that one person? Did you end up finding that person?

Hi MentoringSpace. What does your business do and how much does it cost to join?

Just become your own mentor, the mind works better when you don't instruct it what to do and costs nothing..

Space is pretty big. There's bound to be one person out there who needs mentoring.

    Do you mean "elusive" ?

Illusive is a word but I'm not sure it fits into what you are saying - but I'm not 100% sure (it depends on what you are trying to say).

Wowsers - so you need to pay $600/month to get 3hrs and 4 emails of your mentors time?

what happens if you exceed this?

Seems a bit steep to me - but good luck - and welcome.

    Hi Blacky,

Thanks for the feedback. The time frame doesn't get exceeded, $97 gets you unlimited access via facebook.

    Hi @Tam Thorogood, welcome.

I'd love to hear details about a couple of your commercial property acquisitions, or alternatively ones you've sourced for clients? It's an interesting space (for me).

    HI @hobo,

I don't source for clients only myself. I am more than happy to share any info with you, if there is something specific you would like to know ask away.

    Oh, ok, cool.

So would you share some of your own commercial property acquisitions, then? ie info such as cost, return, type of property, when bought, methodology etc? It would be really interesting to hear.

    Cheers

    Hi Tamara
Great to have you here. I would not be where I am right now if I did not have the right mentors to push me towards boundaries I did not think were possible.

I agree, having that one person who is one step ahead is important.

Interesting that you have online access to diffetent mentors. All the best and hoping it really works out well for you. X

Just wondering should you be a business member to advertise your business?

    Sure,

I look for tenanted properties typically within medical due to our aging population. I buy where I live on the Sunshine Coast and look for a minimum of 8% capped rate giving me cashflow positive properties.
