Have modests funds for deposit on new ppor and no debt. Currently renting with an oppurtunity to buy from landlord < $300 K. Looking for good advice and encouragement. Hi Alexh , I'm only new but I see the rent return on a IP higher than an I/O loan repayment , freeing up funds to pay off ppor loan early . Any capital growth would be a bonus. it's a simple strategy and the sub $300 k properties in Logan or any high rent / low capital growth area would do this. Plenty of worst house best street ( by local standards ) opportunities here.
