    No drama queens allowed :)

    Had my jab yesterday.

    - slightly tired and foggy brained
    - feel like I had one to many whiskey's last night (no alcohol was consumed!)

Other than that, all good ... but a delightful excuse to spend a day slobbing on the couch

First jab two weeks ago: as you, "slightly tired and foggy brained" next morning. I wouldn't have trusted myself to drive but otherwise got on with life, back to normal by lunchtime. I'm a 60s male; a church friend who is half my age and female (health worker) was really the worse for it the day after.

Next isn't until late July, the full three months.

Done my two. Biontech. First one was okay besides sore on the needle point. Second one caused muscle ache and tiredness on day 2. But only for a day or two. That was 3 weeks ago.

I was feeling just slightly "off" the day after the jab (at 6.20pm). Sore arm to touch where it went in, just a headache the next day and that feeling of being a bit "off". Was fine by lunchtime the following day.

I had the AZ and was told by a doctor that 20% will have symptoms more than just headache and feeling "off". Next shot in 12 weeks and I'm told by end of week three I should have a good amount of protection.

Got Astra Zenica last week. No symptoms apart from mild local tenderness for two days at injection site (just like any vaccine). I am male 55yo 96kg. Waiting 12 weeks for the next one and looking forward to being fully vaccinated. I will also make sure to get the latest flu-vax, must be min 2 weeks before or after covid vax.

The important thing is not to be off guard thinking the two jabs will protect you 100%. Keep up the good hygiene and maintain social distancing in a sensible way.

Feeling very lethargic, with gritty eyes, but not "tired" so sleep is elusive ... arm is now sore

Hoping to pull up into sensational mode again tomorrow

Got the Pfizer dose #1 yesterday. Nothing but the 'my arm was jabbed' feeling.

I've felt worse after a basic flu jab.

I had the first Astrazeneca jab two weeks ago. I only had a bit of a sore arm for a couple of days.

My boss wasn't as fortunate. She's had to take several days of work.

I'm getting my flu jab next week, and the second AZ when it's due.

My boss wasn't as fortunate as most here - she had one day off work yesterday feeling quite ordinary, and struggled at work today.

I'm thinking I may have an extra shot tomorrow. With my coffee.

I had a sore arm for about 8cm around the injection site. Not really painful - more like the feeling from a bruise.

On day 2 I felt a bit tired. But I was fine on day 3.

People I know who had Pfizer only minor side effects, sore arm.

Age range must be wide in Australia if people in 50s getting jab. Here they just started 50s this week... 30% of population done but all over 60. Vax centre down the road can do 120K a week with 60 parallel vax points. I had a look its like a conveyor belt of people going in and coming out. Went to register in the system but got rejected but they are having a look at it.

Private clinic I went to was literally an after hours sausage factory .. queue to get checked in, jab, out to very large waiting room for a 15 minute "no reaction" session before being allowed to leave.

Every doctor/nurse was working two consult rooms, back and forth with a box of vaccines underarm, non medical staff doing everything else to shuffle us in and out

I just got the normal flu jab.

I'll wait a few more months before deciding on corona jabs. First I'll see how the number of PC members decline before rolling up the sleeve or dropping the daks o_O

    Good.

Not sure about the other states but NSW's starting 40-49ers and in a limited, non publicised way(some qualify some don't) 16-49 to use up the first tranche of the Pfizer vaccines.

Additional Pfizer, Novavax? and Moderna supply coming online in a few months.
