I have to take some care in what I can eat too. Seeing one's blood sugar level screaming up into a high range two hours after having a delicious split pea soup with home baked bread isn't considered great.

Covid-19 and diabetes. What a combination! He he.

Yes that’s it! In both feet. First time years ago I was lucky, only lasted a few weeks. I borrowed a foot massage machine my dad had but that was interstate. The one I bought isn’t as good. Didn’t work

Hmmm...nothing unusual about scales being out.

I think you should post another photo of yourself climbing ropes and let the people of PC decide whether you have gained or lost any weight.

    lol.

On the plus side, I think it’s ok if you gain some weight :)

I feel I am spending less due to COVID! But there has been some internet shopping. Unicycle stuff, outdoor play equipment, enrolled in a 8 week French online class.

I’d usually spend nearly $10 on trains per day and around $10 each day on lunches and that’s been unnecessary for me in the the last 8 weeks.

I haven’t done any tissue (aerial silks) classes since Feb... :( they’ve been cancelled due to Covid.

Oh well. We'll just have to say you've gained 7 kg by default.

That's about the same time all forms of tissue disappeared from supermarket shelves. I hope that you found an alternative

Whoa there. Only saw this now. Calm down and chill. No need to do anything so rash. Can you talk to someone about the issues?

I had a 10 day holiday booked starting with Milford Sound in New Zealand. The NZ incoming traveller restriction started about 8 days before I was due to leave. Fortunately I managed to get refunds or vouchers for everything, I'll do the trip next year.

Oh man, that's a double bummer, it can be pretty hard to get spots on the Milford! Ah well, hopefully next year indeed :) It looks like a beautiful walk.

Gockie is as skinny as I was at her age. Five kilos should bring her up to healthy. For me - it's not menopause, just being a healthy size for a change.

I had that for a while to. Incredibly painful. Simply back stretched the ***** out of my feet at every opportunity which seemed to fix it.

The stretching is now habit and they haven't returned ... as for the corn forming between the balls on my feet ....

Seriously though Tethered Swimming is brilliant. I have a similar swimming harness to this which I use in our 9.5 x 4.5m home inground pool.

It takes a little while to get used to but fantastic once you do.

I also have the following swimming watch which has all sorts of settings and has a “vibrate” alert which is sensed on your wrist when target / interval occur. No having to look at watch.

When I get an occurrence, I use the Tulis Heel Cups (green version) as the unique cushioning makes it possible to keep on walking.

There is a lower profile yellow version too - but I haven’t tried that.

I’ve tried lots of other heel cups (gel etc) but these are the ones that ease the pain the most. I got mine from Sportstek in Melbourne who supply podiatrists and physios.

When I go bushwalking I always take these just in case.

I have also used the frozen bottle of water and rolling my arch over it.

I've done this, also small semi-solid squash ball size and roll the arches.

I've also had very good results from massage.
