    I know someone working in a clinic, the intention was not to remind you, really. It was to make sure if you cannot come, then they give the appointment slot to another person who might be on the waiting list or just walk-in and sitting and wait. It is to their benefit, not yours. Just disguised as a courtesy...:(

    Agree 100% What is funny is when you know the message has been "read" (those telltale moving dots :D) yet the messagee (is there such a word?!) swears they didn't read it until too late.....
