Has anyone received first home buyer duty reduction in Victoria

    Hello everyone,

    I'm just wondering if anyone has received the 50% stamp duty discount with the first home buyer duty reduction applied?

    First Home Owner | State Revenue Office

    This refers to a PPOR in which I will live.

    I have owned investment properties where I never lived in them in the past. I'm told I need a conveyancer to confirm my eligibility, given that it's a difference of $11,000 or so I'd like to know, but if a conveyancer will only tell me the same as what the website says then I am confident I can read too.

    Are there any special things the website doesn't mention or things hidden away that I should know? Have you done it before and been in a similar situation as me?

    If you satisfy this criteria then yes, you are eligible.
