It also happens to be valentines day on Sunday.

Luckily my family's not too traditional, catching up with them on Saturday, although won't say no to cash for my kids :D

I was out with some friends last night and couldn't believe how pessimistic and negative they were about property markets given the recent booms. I was burning inside trying to be polite and hold my tongue... but it got to a point I couldn't hold back...so trying to be culturally polite and appropriate for the evening... what else could I say other than......

    BULL!! :D

I had to cut open the plastic on new computer parts I bought today. Apparently that's taboo. I also used a cloth to do a bit of cleaning before installing it into my computer system. That's taboo too.... So I guess I'm doomed.

On the other hand, the bull market in crypto has made me more than I anticipated, so I have a bit more coin to spend this coming weekend.

As Ronny Chieng the Singaporean/Aussie/American comedian said, Gong Xi Fa Chai directly translated isn't 'happy new year' it means 'hope you get rich'!

I was taking some friends home in my car and they were complaining that there's some terrible smell.... they thought ( half joking) maybe a dead animal in the car or dirty nappy etc. I assured them there wasn't any and just wound the windows down. Looking in my rear view mirror I could see they were still very conscious of ' the smell'.

After dropping them home I carried the box out of my boot to my kitchen and started opening my durians.

Yuuuum!!! Aiyooo..Die die must try la! :D:oops:

@Sackie that reminded me of something I read recently...

I recently released my own fragrance... but nobody in the car seemed to like it. :D

That doesn't mean you can't put them in your boot, air cond vents or curtain rods.

Apparently one of the celebrating fruits is mandarin. It’s over $11 a kilo. Chinese New Year price!
