The total votes cast between all 4 candidates was 64.4%. The largest share went to Clinton at 31.4 % which is lower by about 4%. The majority party is the party of non-voters at 35.5%

63 million Trump. 31.5% of registered voters.

66 million Clinton. 33% of registered voters.

    Ah the naivety.

This was not a pro-life rally - it was a white pro-power rally thinly disguised as an anti-abortion rally.

When these young men have the ability to fall pregnant and, potentially, have to go thru the agonising and distressing decision of requiring an abortion - or fund children born into situations where they are not wanted/supported/unafforable - then they have a right to voice their opinion on the matter. Until then, a woman's right to do with her body what she believes must been done, has nothing to do with teenage white males.

If they were genuinely pro-life then we would've seen them:

    - attend anti-gun rallies
    - attend rallies against stripping children away from their parents and putting them in cages
    - attend rallies against the removal of healthcare for millions of poor Americans
    - attend rallies demanding assistance be sent to Puerto Rico after the hurricane
    - attend rallies for action against climate change
    - attend rallies demanding better care for veterans/disabled/elderly/indigenous etc
    - attend rallies against discrimination of people of different colour or religion or sexuality

Or is there such a thing as "selective" pro-life?

Those who were the MAGA hat are identifying themselves with a leader who does not believe in any of the above genuine pro-life activities. By wearing the hats they are showing their support for wealthy, straight, male, white supremacy power.

I agree - no one should be attacked for the hat they wear ... just as no one should be attacked for the colour of their skin or their religion or their country of birth or their sexual orientation or their social status or their ability/disability. Sadly, the original instigator of the hat attacks all these - and hence the hat is an identified symbol of hatred

Unbelievable (almost) that some of the left leaning media is still trying to twist these kids actions as more aggressive than that of someone coming up and banging a drum in a student's face.
How conservative media transformed the Covington Catholic students from pariahs to heroes

These students have only been turned into "heroes" BECAUSE of the misreporting from media and high-profile liberals.

This whole episode is such a non story and just used to stir up partisanship on both sides.
