You gotta set goals to get your eye in and hit those targets!

Ah, they're never too young to learn. Peewee 50's were made for 3 year olds ;)
I have fond memories of friends who didn't grow up riding lil motorbikes riding into fences for the first time.

@Brian84 Nice to hear a PC person talking about dirtbikes. YZF450 or KX450F's are crap bikes for just cruising around. They're MX machines designed to be ridden fast. Their cooling systems aren't designed for cruising around. They're also heavy although riding a Harley you would be used to that.

Go for something like a KTM350EXCF. Plenty of power and light weight for a four stroke. Easier to work on than a jap bike.

    Good luck either way.

Yep nice bike, next bike I'm thinking ktm300 2banga! Love the power of a 450 but they're a bit to heavy, I want something lighter to throw around single trails bit still open it up

I used to ride at the track at Nowra. The one you used to be able to camp at.

Ouch. Like you nearly hit the fence, or you got stuck in it?I didn't actually have one myself when I was little, but was fortunate to know people with the cool toys. Didn't have my first decent stack until I was about 9 ;) But that's the good thing about dirt bikes, doesn't hurt as much as the road.

Pulled up just before the fence by sliding. I have had a few good stacks. Broke my collar bone by flipping it doing a wheelie on the road. I also got hit by a truck on my r6. Bike was a write off.

My goal for 2016 is to be more generous. I've been working and saving very hard for property #1 so the people who have stuck with me should be rewarded. Haven't had a day off work this year so I might slowly start to treat myself more too

I would try to create a spreadsheet with SMARTER goals.

Specific – Eg: What is the value of net assets do you want to accumulate?
Measurable – Eg: 4 Mil worth of assets (can go into deeper with asset classes and all)
Action – Eg: Whatever fits your hat. Just read through PC for different ways.
Realistic – Eg: Do I have enough means to achieve my goal? If not, how can I make this work?
Timely – Eg: When am I going to get this done?
Review – Eg: Do I need to refine my goals?

I has been useful for me in any aspect of my life.

    Edit:

    Love the post @devank

I use the SMART format extensively at work when setting goals for both myself and my team, especially like the review component which takes it up a notch!

Not long ago I read Arnies book Total Recall and he said that he'd set five goals a year, write them on a piece of paper and take that everywhere. And everything he did would be towards achieving them.

My goals for next year would be
Financial: Reduce non deductible debt and purchase at least IP number 2 (didn't make the right purchase on IP1)
Career: Finish current studies in business and get my stupid painful Electricians licence.
Creative: When home, average 2hrs a day of guitar.
Wellbeing: Plan a monthly activity or interest to spend a break doing. (A day in gardens, Music, Art)
    Number 5 ..... TBC
