Article also posted in another Gladstone thread.

Interesting they've gone from $700m to $3.2b, I'm no mathematicer but that's a huge leap.

I think it's planned to be built in the same area that was originally planned as an area for shale oil to be produced. The gov bought up large areas of land around there for the project then it never went ahead.

Also boulder steel was planned to be built in the same area, also "$x billion and anti fifo"..... since changed names and still hasn't started

CEO full of optimism, no experience in a game this big. Like @bob shovel said, $700m to $3.2b in less than a year? They still aren't sure what to do... Feasibility is anything but complete.

Good on him for having a go, but I seriously doubt it will go ahead.

Oh and the JV company in the states has a market cap of less than $4m, so I have no idea who is funding these studies???

I'm hoping too. However I never hold my breath for these projects. A share investing mentor of mine (also one of the wealthiest people I know) stated that never buy a company without a product being sold. Yet to see the product but hope to see it too. I wonder how many will offload as soon (if) prices rebound??
