You think if a woman's choice to have a legal abortion is taken away, they won't take the same drastic measures they took before it was legal? It did happen, and it will again if the law is changed.

Does his warning about this make him a nutter?

Yes he is a nutter in his obvious glee - but also a nutter voicing exactly what will happen if legal abortion is taken away from women.

Something that Kavanuagh has already said that he is willing to do

An interesting, and horrifying, read regarding the abortion stats before Roe was made legislation

The FBI didn't find anything from either side about the accuracy of the investigation. But that didn't matter to Trump. He still called the accusations lies, all made up and fabricated.

Birds of a feather.. Trump admires liars and sexual assaulters like himself. Many of those present didn't clap this charade, the other supreme court justices not too happy to have their institution undermined and delegitmized.

Trump backed him to hopefully save his own bacon. Results do indeed speak volumes. Republican senators will do anything to stay on the good side of Trump until they don’t need him. Then look out.

Democrats would do the same. They are all (mostly) ready to turn their backs on what is right to reach the end goal. Like our own politicians.

Yes politicians take sides to benefit themselves but most politicians would not sink to the obscene depths of lying, spite, hatred and lack of empathy that Trump does. He is in a class of his own.

Yes - Trump backed him because Kavanuagh is his not-so-secret weapon for staying out of jail.

Kavanaugh has stated he would rule to prevent crimes pardoned at a federal level from being tried at a state level - see Gamble vs USA.

Opinion | Kavanaugh's confirmation may be how every Trump associate avoids prosecution

This would mean any felon associate that is found guilty at a Federal level, and Trump pardons (ie, Manafort, Cohen, Flynn et al), the backup of trying them at a state level is removed. This would mean guilty cohorts are less likely to dob on Trump.

Kavanaugh has also stated that no sitting president should be indicted ... which means Trump is safe from any prosecution while he's presidents (which is why he's so desperate to win in 2020).

Corruption to the core - and only someone willing to turn a blind eye to that corruption would defend the position

Wanna provide a link as buggered if I can find anything but exerts fro a chat with Rachel Maddow, or snippets of 5 minutes or less - both from a month ago - where she's made some pretty interesting (and believable) predictions.

Google also pops up some Trump rallies in Indianna and North Dakota where he's still railing on about beating Clinton 2 YEARS after the election ... Trump,no one cares about the past election results since it happened (except the Republicans)

What's the issue..... bring it on, his only in deep water if he is he guilty. You are making assumptions again, without any concrete evidence. Look what happened to Dems??? I hope some lessons are learnt here

What happened to Dems? The investigation was a farce. Nothing happened to anyone.

Dems wanted to burn people at the stake, most people still like due process, presumption of innocence till proven guilty, evidence, being trailed by a jury of peers etc...

That's just silly. Democrats wanted to stop a judge who has had three accusers from being elevated without a proper investigation. The accuser reported this before Trump put him up as a nominee. Ultimately, the FBI was stopped from interviewing "anyone they deemed appropriate" and didn't even interview the accuser or the accused. Would you call that a proper investigation?

Trump said long ago he would choose only from a list of judges. He was very definite about that. Kavanaugh was not on that list. Kavanaugh has a well know position of stating a President cannot be indicted, and his position on trying to change current laws which would benefit Trump is well known and outlined in a previous post.

How interesting, don't you think, that Trump has put him up? I wonder why?

And for those Republicans who publicly stated that lying under oath would mean they don't support the nominee... it is proven that he lied under oath when he worked in the WH. He received and forwarded stolen emails.

Hopefully one day when the Republicans cannot stop the investigation, he will be called on that one.

The investigation made no conclusion. The allegations were neither confirmed nor proven false.

Yet that was still enough for Trump to call Dr Ford a liar.

Due process etc works both ways. It's not only the Dems.
